Left the house at 5:30am for my round which started at 7:20am! Who, besides the insomniacs and incontinent are up at this hour?!? It was a little damp, but not too bad.
Had the pleasure of playing with Chritian Dietrich the 1st round. He shot very solid and should be on or near the top card. He has a style I would best describe as relaxed, yet powerful and accurate. He was also super fun to play with! It’s nice to play with top-ranked golfers that doesn’t think being competitive and having fun are mutually exclusive.
I ended up shooting a 65, which was all due to weak putting and sawed-off upshots. Gotta work on building consistency!
I tee off around 2:30 for rnd 2 on the east course. This is the one we played in practice, hopefully that will help my confidence!
